The Memorial Student Center is located on the corner of L.W. Minor and O.J. Thomas streets, directly across from the William J. Nicks Building (Baby Dome). The Memorial Student Center is the main focal point for most student services and student social life on the campus of Prairie View A&M University.

Also located in the Memorial Student Center is a 980-seat Auditorium (The Opal Johnson-Smith Auditorium), Ballrooms, Conference Rooms and a Student Lounge.
Normal hours that the Memorial Student Center is open are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM; weekends… Saturday, 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM and Sunday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
The Memorial Student Center is available for all types of social, cultural and special activities. Reservations for events are on a first-come, first-serve basis. All rooms for meeting and events must be reserved in advance of the activity.
