Samuel Metters is the founder and CEO of Metters Industries, Inc., with 19 offices nationwide. The corporate headquarters is located in McLean, Virginia and consists of six wholly owned subsidiaries. Dr. Metters received a bachelor of science degree in architectural engineering from Prairie View A & M University and the bachelor of arts degree in architecture design and city planning from the University of California at Berkeley. He received the master’s of science degree in systems management, the master’s of science degree in public administration, and a doctorate in public administration from the University of Southern California. He is also a graduate of Owner/President Management (OPM) Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Dr. Metters, is a licensed professional engineer. Dr. Metters was highly decorated for his distinguished military career. His medals include three Bronze Stars, the Air Medal, the Meritorious Service Award, three Army Commendations Medals, the Purple Heart, and a host of Republic of Vietnam awards.
