Mason D. Barrett is Director of the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Savannah Local Office. Mr. Barrett is responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of the local office, which has jurisdiction in specific counties in the state of Georgia and South Carolina. Mr. Barrett has a long career in employment law and civil rights. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Barrett served as a Senior Trial Attorney and acting Enforcement Manager in the EEOC Birmingham District Office. He has held a number of positions in EEO and civil rights with federal agencies and in the private sector. Mr. Barrett earned a Juris Doctor from the University of  Denver College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Prairie View A&M University.
