New Hires

For student employment purposes, a new-hire is defined as any student who was not processed for employment during the 2006-2007 school year. In accordance with System Policy 33.99.12., all new-hire student employees will need to complete certain documents as a condition of employment. The Student Employment Office will distribute a New Hire Packet containing all required employment documents.

Hiring Steps

  1. All New Hires must complete a Summer Session New Hire Packet.
  2. All New Hires must attend Student Employment Orientation. Students must register online.
  3. All New Hires must complete the State Mandated Online Training for:
    • Orientation to the A&M System
    • Creating a Discrimination Free Work Place
    • Ethics
    • Information Security Awareness
    • Reporting Fraud, Waste and Abuse

Details on how to complete these trainings will be provided during the Student Employment Orientation.
