The nucleus of extra curricular activities on campus, the New Student Center (NSC), has facilities for leisure, recreation, meetings, receptions, dances, and other activities.

The NSC, scheduled to open in the spring 2003, will house the University Bookstore, a ballroom, a food court, a TV room, and game room.

A number of offices will be located in the NSC, including management offices and the Department of Student Activities, as well as offices for student groups such as the Student Government Association, the Pan-Hellenic Council and the Council of Student Organizations. The student support administrative offices will support a one stop service concept.
