The STEM Panel addressed the following two questions:

• What skills will the next generation of students need?
• What can educators do now to ensure that their graduates have the skills they need for their future careers?

The Panel presentations were structured to provide a "top down" needs of the US Air Force Office of Scientific Research, "bottom up" preparation of students to meet these needs, and a success story from a university.
