Deadline

For the academic-year program the deadline for receiving applications each semester is the last official day of class registration.

Application package

A complete application must include:

1. the official application form,
   
2. a personal statement letter from the applicant detailing his/her educational background, relevant work and scientific experience, academic and career goals and their perception on how the REU experience will facilitate their plans,
   
3. official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended, and
   
4. two letters of recommendation from teachers or others in a position to evaluate the applicant's ability, experience, and potential.
