About Us

The Center for Academic Support (CAS) is a university-wide tutoring program providing comprehensive tutoring services by peer tutors for courses taught at the university. These tutors are undergraduate and graduate assistants with cumulative grade point average of 3.00 to 4:00 and highly recommended by their instructors to tutor courses that they have completed.

The Center For Academic Support tutoring is a Title III federal funded program and is free for all students enrolled at Prairie View A&M University.

PVAMU students are encouraged to visit and study in the Library where the tutoring center is equipped with tutors, resources and quietude.

Study tables are available to support individual or group study. Hours can be modified to fit a specified group of students.
