General Description
The College of Agriculture and Human Sciences invites applications for position of Assistant Professor in Agriculture Economics. The assistant/associate professor is directly responsible to the Department Head and generally supervised by the Dean of the College of Agriculture and Human Sciences (CAHS). Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in agricultural economics, agribusiness management and marketing and/or related courses; mentoring of undergraduate students and advising of graduate students is expected and performing other related duties as deemed necessary and appropriate.
Salary
Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Education
Earned doctorate in agricultural economics, agricultural business or closely related field
Experience
Demonstrated a strong teaching experience at the post-secondary level, and demonstrated interest in teaching at the undergraduate level.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills
The successful candidte must have excellent communication skills, and potential for developing a nationally recognized research agenda including securing and conducting externally funded research.
