    Rachel Dickson moved to the Houston area in 1997, relocating from the Chicago area where she worked as an actress.  She received a Bachelor of Science from University of Missouri and a Master of Fine Art in Acting from the University of Illinois.  Her onstage acting credits include wonderful pieces such as:  joe turner’s come and gone, flyin west, the story, macbeth, and anything goes.   Her commercial/voice-over/Industrial work has included projects for: Southern Dental, Captain D’s Restaurant, KFC Restaurants, Memorial Hermann Hospital, Reliant Energy, NASA, M.D. Anderson, BFI Waste Management.  Mrs. Dickson joined the team at Prairie View A & M University after a tenure with Harris County utilizing her Master of Social Work Degree in a project/grant management position that facilitated a youth truancy program.  She has significant interest in using theater as a tool to allow young people to have a voice and to address issues relevant to young lives.
