Program Description

The Dietetic Internship (DI) Program is offered through the Department of Agriculture Nutrition and Human Ecology at Prairie View A&M University. The program is based upon accreditation standards established by The Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the  credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, 120 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 2000, Chicago, IL 60606-6995; 1-(800)-877-1600 ext. 5500, www.cdr@eatright.org. Students who successfully complete the internship will be verified for eligibility to write the Registration Examination leading to credentialing as a registered dietitian (RD).

 

Second Round Match Instructions

Students applying in the second round must submit a complete application packet preferably by overnight, priority, or express mail. You may include photo copies of recommendations and transcripts, and must include the program application fee. If accepted into the program, original recommendations and transcripts will be required.
