Additional hands-on activities that are performed in conjunction with the above include the use of the air rocket, manufactured by Cambridge Physics Outlet and used to study motion; and the use of the force table, to get a sense of how vectors work by creating models of them. Once the students become comfortable with vectors, then they can apply them to the work that they are doing in other activities to represent forces and velocities on the various objects they are working with. Each of the afore-mentioned projects deal with the area of classical mechanics; in the future, similar activities dealing with heat, light, sound, and electricity will be constructed and disseminated.
