Biography:

PVAMU:  Enters the 2009 season as the team leader and “quarterback” on defense…earned Preseason All-American Honors by The Sports Network and the Consensus Draft Services (CDS).

2008:  Named to the All-SWAC First Team after finishing with 32.5 tackles, five interceptions for 133 total yards with two returned for touchdowns…broke up a pass with 3.5 tackles in season opener versus TSU on Aug. 30…broke up one pass against Texas College and two at Mississippi Valley State…logged 5.5 tackles and picked off two passes with one returned for a touchdown against Morehouse in Angel City Classic on Sept. 27…recorded 5.5 tackles and one tackle for loss in team’s lone loss on the season to Grambling State in State Fair Classic…didn’t record a tackle but picked off a pass in win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff…broke up a pass with 4.5 tackles during win over Southern…tallied five tackles and two interceptions (one returned for a score) in big road win at Alabama A&M on Nov. 8…closed out the year with five tackles in win over Alcorn State on Nov. 15.

2007:  Played in all 10 games and amassed 41 tackles (21 solo)…recorded two pass break-ups, one interception for a touchdown and a blocked kick…scored on a 92-yard interception return in season-opening win over Texas Southern on Sept. 1…also blocked a kick…finished with three tackles apiece versus North Carolina A&T and Southern…tallied six tackles against Grambling State…posted seven tackles and a pass break-up at Alabama State…finished with a season-high eight tackles against Mississippi Valley on Oct. 27…had four tackles in win over Jackson State…closed out the year with five tackles and a break-up against Alabama A&M.

2006:  Played in 10 games with 10 starts as a true freshman...recorded 35 tackles (17 solo, 18 assisted)...tallied two interceptions and three pass breakups.

High School:  A member of the District 23-4A first team…recorded three interceptions…was one of the top basketball players in the Houston area.
