The setter for the Lady Panthers is doing a lot more than just leading her team on the court, majoring in Human Performance Fondel has plans to continue her education by attending Physical Therapy school. Fondel, who claims her best non-athletic talent is to study, is one of the great student-athletes Prairie View A&M University is proud to produce because of her drive in the classroom.

“I am going to be expecting a lot from Erin this year, I need her to fill into all the expectations I have for her as a player and most importantly as a leader on and off the court,” noted Alicia Pete. “Overall, she needs to be looked at by the players and coaches as the quarterback on the court.”

Fondel was also recognized with the Lady Panther Invitational All-Tournament team award for her performance this past weekend. She has been recognized with All-Tournament team accolades two times this season at the TSU Volleyball Tournament and in the Lady Panther Invitational.
