The SAC sponsored a Staff Appreciation Luncheon and Back to School Drive in August 2006. The following staff members were award recipients: Eddie Davis; Lois Hale; Doris Thomas; Robert Woodard and Jessie Yell. CONGRATULATIONS!!
Eligible staff members were invited to attend a Presidential Forum with the President and Executive Administrators on Monday, October 16, 2006. The purpose of the forum was to address any concerns and answer questions staff employees had about institutional issues, general grievance policies and the status of ongoing projects.
The SAC sponsored a Food Drive during the Thanksgiving holidays and on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 was able to provide eleven food baskets to needy families in the Waller/Harris County Community. The SAC would like to extend “Special Thanks” to the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., who donated turkeys for the baskets.
The Office of Human Resources will sponsor a Financial Fair (“What’s In Your Wallet”) on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 in the Memorial Student Center
