Technical Services
The mission of the Technical Services division of Information Technology Services is to provide provide ongoing operational support, maintenance and development of PVAMU ITS Infrastructure and Network Applications. Our team of highly trained, certified staff/technicians is on site every day at all PVAMU campus locations. We have experts in areas including Wireless Technology, Programming, Hardware and Software, and Application Specialists. One of our many goals is to stay on top of technology and provide the best possible computer environment for the PVAMU faculty, staff and students. ITS manages and maintains the universities firewalls and security applications, support various college-wide network applications including Exchange email/calendaring, anti-virus software applications, and Microsoft Office suite applications. Additionally, we monitor and maintain all the university’s network and telecommunications Internet, and telephony circuits. Technical Services Administrative Staff
