The purpose of this position is to provide customer service and risk management to all verified PV ID card holders during the Rec Sports hours of operations at Moore Gym Monday - Friday 3pm-9pm, Saturday 9:30am-1:30pm, and Sunday 3pm-7pm.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensure all participants are following outlined policies and procedures while engaging in drop in activities or scheduled programs
Lead assigned activities of Group Fitness classes while encouraging interactive and safe participation. Certification required before employment or within the first semester of employment. The Department will aid & assist in securing certification.
Lead Individual & Group Personal Training Sessions. Certification required before employment or within the first semester of employment. The Department will aid & assist in securing certification.
Provide basic office support by handling duties of errands, filing, answer customer service request by phone or e-mail; create and/or posting ads, updating the department Facebook, Twitter or other social media accounts; attending information fairs and/or distribute Rec Sports program information
Qualifications
Must be able to offer exceptional customer by area cross training & using abilities: greeting, speaking, sharing correct information and serving peers. Should exhibit the ability to lead activities, work with a team and offer guidance to participants utilizing the assigned spaces. Must be willing to work during special events and attend all required trainings for employment.
