Administrative Services

The Administrative Services Division is located at the Prairie View A&M University Department of Public Safety headquarters on campus across the street from the Physical Plant. This office is responsible for providing competent and insightful direction for all related administrative tasks as well as an effective informational bridge between the University Police and other law enforcement agencies. 

The Support Services and Communications sections fall under the Administrative Services Division (ASD) umbrella. ASD establishes a complete state-approved training curriculum for all peace officers employed with Prairie View A&M University  and ensures all training requirements are met. Other responsibilities include maintaining a statistical database of departmental functions and services, equipment procurement, dignitary protection, maintaining the University Police web site, and the development of plans and programs for future departmental activities.
