Transfer Student Scholarship Guidelines

Prairie View A&M University instituted the Transfer Student Scholarship in August of 2004. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students who are transferring from community and junior colleges. Students who are transferring from a junior or community college in Texas will have first priority. If there is scholarship monies available, other transfer students from other 4-year institutions in Texas and out-of-state will be considered if they meet the minimum requirement. Students who compete for the scholarship must meet the minimum scholarship requirements and submit all necessary documents. Students will be required to sign an agreement form and return it to the scholarship office once the offer has been mailed.
