American Indian Graduate Center

Apogee Search Scholarship Program

Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation
Offers 50 four-year $20,000 scholarships ($5,000 per year for four years) and 200 four-year $4,000 scholarships ($1,000 per year for four years) to high school or home-school seniors maintaining a minimum 3.00 G.P.A., who are planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution.

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI)
Offers scholarships, internships and fellowships to promising Latino students with backgrounds in community service. CHCI's goal is to develop young Latinos into effective professionals and strong civic-minded leaders.

The Gates Millennium Scholars (GMS) Program selects 1,000 talented students each year to receive a good-through-graduation scholarship to use at any college or university of their choice.

Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation
Offers scholarships of up to $30,000 to students pursuing graduate degrees in public service fields and are committed to careers in government, the nonprofit or advocacy sectors, education or elsewhere in public service.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund
Offers a variety of scholarships to Hispanic students at different points in their academic careers. Follow "Scholarships" link.

Ink Farm
Offers a $1,000 scholarship to the essay contest winner that describes a personal experience with an Internet entrepreneurship or the importance of new ideas in the digital realm.

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation
Offers fifty scholarships of up to $30,000 per year to students attending community colleges or two-year institutions in the US and planning to transfer to four-year institutions, and thirty scholarships of up to $50,000 per year to graduate students. Applicants must be outstanding individuals demonstrating financial need.

Jackie Robinson Foundation
Offers scholarships of up to $7,200 annually to underserved high school students showing leadership potential and demonstrating financial need to attend an accredited 4-year college or university of their choice.

Korean American Scholarship Foundation
Offers various scholarships from $1,000 to Korean American students in fields specified by individual and corporate donors.

La Unidad Latina Foundation
Offers scholarships ranging from $250 to $1000 to Hispanic students currently enrolled in an eligible bachelor's or master's degree program at an accredited four-year college or university.

Latin American Educational Foundation
Offers scholarships to Colorado residents who are of Hispanic heritage and/or actively involved in the Hispanic community.

Latino College Dollars
Many families are not aware that scholarships and grants- free money – are available to Latino students, and every year thousands of dollars go unclaimed! This up-to-date directory requires no registration and is accessible to all.

LULAC National Educational Service Centers
Offers scholarships to qualified Hispanic students who are enrolled or are planning to enroll in accredited colleges or universities. Under "Our Programs", follow "Scholarships" link.

Mensa Education & Research Foundation
Offers scholarships based entirely on essays written by applicants. Consideration is not given to grades, academic program or financial need.

Morris K. Udall Foundation
Offers eighty scholarships of up to $5,000 and fifty honorable mentions to students who have demonstrated commitment to careers related to the environment; or to Native American and Alaska Native students who have demonstrated commitment to careers related to tribal public policy; or to Native American and Alaska Native students who have demonstrated commitment to careers related to Native health care.

National Association for Campus Activities Foundation
Offers numerous scholarships to undergraduate and graduate student leaders and associate members.

Patient Advocate Foundation Scholarships for Survivors Program
Offers 10 $3,000 scholarships to students under the age of 25, who are survivors of, or who are currently battling cancer or a critical or life threatening disease.

Ron Brown Scholar Program
Offers 10 four-year scholarships to outstanding African-American high school seniors. Program sponsored and funded by the CAP Charitable Foundation.

Sallie Mae Fund Scholarship Programs
Offers approximately $2.5 million each year in college scholarships to low-income and minority students. The Sallie Mae Fund is committed to addressing the three barriers to college access that low-income and minority students face today; lack of information regarding higher education and financial aid, financial need, and academic preparedness.

Texas Historical Commission Preservation Fellows Program
Offers a $5,000 stipend (to cover eight weeks of employment and living expenses) to at least two award recipients. The Preservation Fellows Program was created to build interest in and awareness of historic preservation among college-aged young adults, specifically those from diverse cultural backgrounds. The program targets Undergraduate and Graduate students, encouraging interest in pursuing study in the fields of history, preservation, architecture, archaeology, landscape architecture, downtown revitalization and heritage tourism.

United Negro College Fund
Administers over 450 scholarships and fellowships that support students at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level.

USDA Scholarships
USDA offers several internships, fellowships, and scholarships to students to help them to excel in their chosen fields.
