Who is My Counselor?

Student Financial Aid (SFA) Teams provide personal financial aid counseling for students, prospective students and their families. Each of our four teams are composed of two financial aid counselors. Aid applicants are assigned to a team based on the last two digits of his or her University ID:

College of Nursing

Ms. Verlicia Pope is the financial aid counselor designated for the College of Nursing. Ms. Pope assists students with the financial aid questions and processing needs. Her office hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Tuesday and Thursday at the College of Nursing’s Downtown Houston campus.

Northwest Center

Mrs. Glenda Williams is the financial aid counselor for the Northwest Center. Much like Ms. Pope, she is responsible for assisting students that attend the Center navigate the financial aid process. Her office hours are 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm Monday and Wednesday at the Northwest Center. (Beginning November 1, 2007)

Dallas Campus

Ms. Janetta Gilliam is the financial aid counselor for the Dallas campus. Like the financial aid counselors at the College of Nursing and Northwest Center, Mrs. Gilliam will answer financial aid questions and assist students with the process. Her office hours are 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Monday (bi-weekly) at the Dallas Campus. (Beginning November 1, 2007).
