PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas--July 7, 2009--Scores of cheerful Prairie View A&M University graduates and supporters gathered on “The Hill” to celebrate the unveiling of the EXTEND THE VIEW, Shape Tomorrow Today Capital Campaign donor wall. The wall, which is located on the second floor of the Willie Albert Tempton Sr. Memorial Student Center, displays the names of the generous supporters of the EXTEND THE VIEW Capital Campaign, which collected $33.2 million in donations to PVAMU. The campaign officially ended Dec. 2008.
Hosted by Prairie View A&M President George C. Wright, the unveiling ceremony included a reception and presentations by The Texas A&M University System (TAMUS) Chancellor Michael D.
