2009-2010 National Student Employment of the Year Nomination.
This year, National Student Employment Week will be held from April 12th through April 16th. Prairie view A&M University will recognize one student worker as a runner up and select one finalist. Nominations may be made for any student worker currently enrolled and registered for at least 6 credit hours and working through the Student Employment Program. More details........Nomination Form
Job Offer Letters.
The Student Employment Office now requires that a Job Offer Letter is submitted for every prospective student hire. The Job Offer Letter is available for pick up in the Student Employment Office and should be submitted as a part of the student’s completed New Hire or Re-Hire Packet.
Monitoring Work Study Earnings.
Work study students are not allowed to exceed their allocated funds for the semester. See procedure.
Hiring tips.
All students and supervisors must submit all hiring documents, to include the EWR, at least five (5) business days prior to the student’s prospective date of hire.
