SGA Constitution

PREAMBLE

We the students of Prairie View A & M University, in order to provide an official and representative student organization to investigate student problems and take appropriate action, promote effective representation and responsible student participation in the overall policy and decision making processes of the University, promote academic excellence and the quality of education, provide the official voice through which student opinion may be expressed, do hereby, adopt, and establish this Constitution for the Student Government Association of Prairie View A & M University.  The Student Government Association is the highest-ranking student organization at Prairie View A&M University and is officially chartered to speak on the behalf of the student body to the University Administration, as well as all internal and external organizations.
