Message from the Dean:
Welcome to the Whitlowe R. Green College of Education’s website. Our College has a legacy of producing some of the nation’s most productive teachers, counselors, principals, diagnosticians, and superintendents. The College of Education is accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC), members of the American Association for Colleges of Teacher Education, Texas Association for Colleges of Teacher Education, The Holmes Partnership, and is recognized by several professional organizations. The under girding principle for our College is E-Fold-P—Educators as Facilitators of Learning for Diverse Populations. This conceptual framework embraces four areas: Reflective and continual Learning, Growth and Development, Diversity and Global Awareness, and Problem solving, critical thinking, and decision making.
