Campus Activities Board: Directors Letter

Hello CAB members,

Whether you are new to Prairie View A&M University or an upper classman,  the organization for you is Campus Activities Board, or CAB for short. CAB is a student-run organization that caters to the entertainment needs of the student. Almost any creative event that can be spotted on campus from a late night movie on the lawn to an inflatable carnival can almost certainly be credited to the creative minds of CAB members.

The great thing about CAB is that any student can join, and the sky is the limit. Also there are opportunities  to build indomitable leadership skills. CAB consists of six Executive Board members: Director, Speakers and Lecturers, Advertising and Promotions, Movie and Cinema, Secretary, and Concerts and Lively Arts. The general CAB members fall under these “E-Board” members according to their interests, and every other Monday we assemble to communicate with each other about what is going on. CAB is not only great for what we do for the student body, but for the skills developed in each CAB member.

As a CAB member, you are handed a great responsibility where you can take pride in the work that you put in, and in turn build self esteem from the great job that was done.
