Student Judicial Services

Mission

The mission of Student Judicial Services is to administer a student discipline system which protects the mission of the university, the integrity of the academic and student community, and student rights and responsibilities.

Discipline

  • Conduct hearings for students found in violation of the student code of conduct.
  • Student can be suspended or expelled from the university as a result of the hearing.
  • Provide supervision for student led Residential Community Judicial Boards.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions regarding the university's discipline system.
  • Provide assistance in cases involving sexual assault and alcohol/drug abuse.
  • Provide meditation in resolving roommate and relationship conflicts.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Provide students official notification of absence from class as required.
  • Assist in the administration of University withdrawal procedures and services.
