Intramurals General Information: Athletes

Professional Athletes

Teams may have on their roster only one current or former professional athlete. Exception: Co-Recreational teams may have on their team roster one of each gender. Note: This only applies to that sport, or related intramural sport, for which the athlete(s) is/was a professional. A professional athlete is one that has broken amateur status (received money). Teams cannot have a professional and intercollegiate athlete on the same team. Co-Reck teams may have one male and one female athlete either professional or intercollegiate.

Intercollegiate Athletes

  • Teams that have PRAM sport club members on their roster can only have two players consisting of former or current PRAM varsity and/or sport club members. Co-Reck teams may have on their roster only one player of each gender.

  • PRAM varsity coaches reserve the right to declare any player ineligible to participate.

Note: This only applies to that sport, or related intramural sport, for which the athlete is/was recruited. Any other athlete that practices with a varsity team on a regular basis with the intent of joining the team is considered a PRAM Red shirt athlete.
