Prairie View A&M University Opens New Northwest Houston Center

The Prairie View A&M University Northwest Houston Center will begin operations at its new facility starting June 2nd. The two-story building, near Tomball Parkway and FM 1960, is located at 9449 Grant Road north of Willowbrook Mall.

The University’s former Northwest Houston Campus located at 16000 Stuebner Airline Road will no longer be operational. The new center features nearly 52,000 square feet of classroom, meeting and student service space.

To reach the new facility from Beltway 8,drive north on State Highway 249. Continue north of FM 1960, exiting onto Grant Road. Turn left at the traffic light onto Grant Road, proceeding straight to 9449 Grant Road.

If traveling from the former Northwest campus, drive southeast on Stuebner Airline Road. Turn right onto FM 1960 heading to State Highway 249. Make a slight right onto the Tomball Parkway/State Highway 249 feeder and travel to Grant Road. Turn left at the traffic light onto Grant Road, proceeding  straight to 9449 Grant Road.
