Junior biology major Edna Idan has received a fellowship from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education to explore the area of advancement.
The CASE fellowship will enable Idan to work for the PVAMU Office of Development for the fall semester, where she will explore various aspects of advancement, including fundraising for the University.
Idan is no stranger to the world of development at PVAMU. For two years, she has been active in the annual Phon-A-Thon, an initiative utilizing students reach out to the University’s alumni in an effort to raise funds for general support, including scholarships, student programs and activities. Idan will also participate in the upcoming Student Development Initiative.
