The Office of the Vice President for Research and Development promotes Prairie View A&M University’s research and institutional development mission and manages the university's investment in intellectual inquiry, fund-raising and its relationships with external sponsors. Our offices and departments provide daily administrative and research assistance to faculty, researchers and students and help develop multi-disciplinary research and sponsored program teams to obtain external funds to support the University’s tripartite mission of teaching, research and service.
The office accomplishes its mission through seven subunits: the Office of Sponsored Programs, Prairie View A&M Research Foundation, Office of Regulatory Compliance, Office of Institutional Development, Office of Alumni Affairs and Title III Programs. Additionally, the office has responsibility for working with the colleges and schools in establishing and evaluating research and specialty centers.
You are invited to browse our Web site for more detail on the offices that comprise the division and the services they offer. If you can not find the information you are seeking or if you have additional questions, please give us a call.
