Phase I: Panther Advisement & Registration Services (PARS)
The mission of New Student Orientation is to ensure essential support needed to finalize the process of Enrollment Management through a structured, extensive one-day program provided to newly admitted students and their families by providing access to basic information and services required to successfully assist new students in transitioning to university life; leading student to become competent in their abilities to successfully enroll for semesters to come.
Phase II: Panther Camp
The purpose of Panther Camp is to promote learning through faculty, staff and peer led seminars, work shops, small “Panther Talk” discussions and to assist student with developing confidence by promoting critical thinking, communication skills, realistic self-appraisal, enhanced self-esteem, leadership development, social responsibility, and achievement of personal goals.
Prairie View A&M University will become a state, regional and national leader in the delivery of outstanding customer service to students, parents, faculty, staff, and alumni. We will accomplish this by using the latest technology and incorporating “Best Practices” into our daily operations.
