Bridge to Advanced Nurse Educator Role

BANER PROJECT

RN-BSN/BSN-MSN Entry

About the Project

The BANER Project is an accelerated track which provides multiple points of entry for registered nurses to obtain a Master of Science Degree in Nurse Education (MSN) and serve as nursing faculty in academic and health care institutions. Registered nurses with an Associate Degree in Nursing can complete the project in two phases and will be admitted to the RN to BSN program with a seamless bridge into the Nurse Education program for the MSN degree.  Applicants are evaluated on an individual basis and must meet all the prerequisites for the PVAMU RN – BSN program.  Phase I is achieved in the RN-BSN program with 6 SCH of Graduate Nursing Courses completed.  Phase II is the completion of the BSN-MSN program.
