The College of Nursing maintains the integrity of the Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and the Master of Science in Nursing Degree curricula through congruence among the philosophy, organizing frameworks, program objectives, curricular designs, course progression, and outcome measures. The program objectives are defined by the faculty as the outcomes of the program and representative of the characteristics of the graduate. The primary goal of the mission and philosophy of the College is to prepare students of diverse economic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds as beginning nurse generalists and advanced practice nurses who have a foundation for continuing professional and personal growth.
