Sherman Crowned Miss PVAMU; LeBeauf, Butler Elected SGA Leaders

Miss PVAMU 2014-2015

After an eventful week, the next group of student leaders for the 2014-2015 year is nearly complete.

Houston native Ashlee Elouise Sherman was selected as Miss Prairie View A&M University 2014-2015 during the 45th annual scholarship pageant. Sherman is a senior majoring in electrical engineering.

Sherman is the daughter of Eric and Christina Sherman. Upon graduation, she plans to earn her Master of Business Administration degree and create at scholarship fund at PVAMU.

The 2014-2015 royal court is rounded out by 1st runner-up Alexandria Scott and 2nd runner-up Davita Heavener. The ladies will serve as ambassadors for the university.

In the Student Government Association, Sidney LeBeauf was elected to lead the student body for the upcoming year. LeBeauf is a junior civil engineering major. Joining him at the helm will be vice president-elect Ivan Butler, a senior marketing and management information systems major.

The group of student leaders will be completed with the addition of the 2014-2015 Mr. Prairie View A&M University. The scholarship pageant will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2014.
