Amparo Navarette has been named one of the 100 Outstanding Colombianos for 2013, an honor awarded by the Fusionarte Association.
Navarette is the recruitment program coordinator for the Marvin D. and June Samuel Brailsford College of Arts and Sciences. According to the Fusionarte Association, individuals selected for the 100 Outstanding Colombianos are honored for their talent, creativity and perseverance internationally. She recently traveled to Bogotá, Colombia to receive the honor in Casa de Nariño, the Colombian Presidential Palace.
In addition to receiving the award, Navarette’s portrait will be on display in the “100 Outstanding Colombians 2013” photo exhibit in the El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá.
