The Department of Languages and Communication holds its Second Annual Communication Week February 23-27, 2015 for its 237 communication majors. Speakers from California, Washington, D.C., and New York, Michigan and Texas, will offer lectures, roundtables, workshops, and professional office hours to help students examine research, career opportunities, and interests in journalism, media production, documentary film making, and academic careers, among others.
Emmy award winning journalist Ed Gordon is scheduled as the COMM Week feature keynote speaker. Students will also be able to participate in one-on-one conversations with recent alumni who went on to pursue careers in various Communication fields.
