Administrative Technology Committee, Academic & Research Technology Committee

Common responsibilities for the Standing Committees include:

  • To identify technology-related issues and recommend solutions for Governance Committee consideration
  • To consider and recommend key procedural needs for Governance Committee consideration
  • To analyze needs and identify incomplete services
  • To recommend priorities for technology efforts
  • To collaborate on developing multi-year plans for technology services, linked to the Technology Strategic Plan
  • To serve as the primary interface between the Governance Committee its constituent community
  • To perform an annual evaluation of its effectiveness in advancing the Technology Strategic Plan
  • To provide feedback on general IT performance in the constituent community
  • To complete projects, as directed by the Governance Committee or by the relevant Standing Committee
  • To execute campus and departmental procedures
  • To respond to campus and departmental issues
  • To monitor specific projects on a defined timeline
  • To disband when our project is complete
