Career Development

Prairie View A&M University is committed to the development of employees at every level of the organization. The university offers Faculty development through our Center for Teaching Excellence located on campus. Faculty members are also encouraged to attend Off-Campus Workshops and Conferences.  Non Faculty employees are encouraged to participate in the Staff Development Program. Eligible program activities include continuing education classes, seminars and college degree programs.   Employees may be allowed to use “release time” to attend class during normal work hours at the Departments’ discretion.
