Honor Code
The Honors Program at Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) has high expectations for ALL of our students, and the primary aim of the Honors Code is to ensure that Honors students serve as exemplary ambassadors for the University. In all actions, on and off campus, Honors students are expected to represent themselves as intellectual, academic, social, moral, and cultural leaders. This expectation is important so that ALL honors students adhere to the mission of the University. (Please review the PVAMU Code of Student Conduct and pay specific attention to articles L, M, N, O, and P.) Hence, acting and/or speaking in affairs that might implicate poor judgment related to the aforementioned student conduct articles is a violation of the Honor Code for students in the Honors Program.
