Texas A&M International University invites you to participate in the Texas A&M System 16th Annual Pathways Student Research Symposium to be held on Thursday, November 7st and Friday, November 8th on the TAMIU campus in Laredo, Texas.

The Symposium is open to all Texas A&M system students with separate categories for undergraduate, master, and doctoral level research. The Pathways Student Research Symposium provides an opportunity for students to present research in a poster or oral format, while interacting and discussing the research with faculty, judges, and other participants. The symposium also provides the participants with a broader exposure to the TAMUS community.

Participation and abstract submission for Prairie View A&M University is now open. The approval and research abstract form must be submitted by September 16, 2019 via the form below. Each student participant will need to register individually.

A limited number of participants will be selected to attend the 2019 Pathways Symposium. Student participants will be selected based upon abstract guidelines by a panel of faculty and staff judges. Student participants selected to attend the symposium will be notified via email along with their faculty advisor.

PVAMU Support

Those students selected to attend the 16th Annual TAMUS Pathways Research Symposium will receive travel support. Support includes travel (students will travel to symposium by a bus), hotel, and registration fee.
