Your college years are some of the most exciting years of your life. Prairie View A&M has a thriving campus life and culture, including a completely unique freshman housing environment called University College. With 8 colleges and schools, nearly 125 academic programs, over 2300 available courses, and a graduate school that offers classes that lead to master’s and doctoral degrees, the Prairie View A&M student population is rich with a diversity of interests. Offering tutoring, advising, and more, the Student Academic Success Center, COMPASS, guarantees that each student will receive exactly what he or she needs to have a fulfilling college experience. If you are looking to get involved with Greek life, the Office of Student Engagement conducts a membership intake process, including a Greek Life Perspectives Workshop. The Department of Health Services provides a wellness center for students to obtain medical care and health education. Our Athletics Department offers competitive sports and activities for student participation and enjoyment. Prairie View A&M furnishes a wide range of auxiliary services for the convenience and comfort of our students. Panther Bucks are a handy way to purchase books and food using your student ID card. Our University Book Store supplies books, materials, and apparel. There are many options for dining on campus, including a Chick-fil-A, Panther Grill, Deli Corner, and Sodexho Dining Services.
