Step 4: Enrollment and Orientation

Congratulations on being admitted to Prairie View A&M University! Here you will embark on the exciting journey of higher education and career preparation. As you gain knowledge and experience in the field you have chosen, doors to opportunity will open.

You should receive a new student packet in the mail shortly, which will outline the next steps regarding orientation and enrollment. Attending the new student orientation (NSO) is vital. At New Student Orientation, you will be given valuable information on choosing a major, university culture and history, student housing and dining, student life, Greek life student organizations, summer classes and programs, and much more.

Other items of importance to new students include: financial aid, required immunizations, getting a student ID, and placement test scores.
