Christine Gertsch is excited to provide aid through the 2017 Legislation Reform Scholarship, to encourage those who are fighting for the rights of others, who are dedicated to their education and who aspire to provide reform to legislation they believe is unjust.


Award: $500

Deadline: All applicants must submit their full application by no later than (personal essay, transcript, cover sheet, resume) September 1, 2017 by email to

Criteria: Applicants are required to submit an approximate 750-word essay in Times New Roman 12-point font that is thoughtful, well-reasoned perspective of legislation in need of reform laws they believe are unjust and how the laws could be changed. This scholarship is offered to any student currently enrolled in an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program in the United States. All eligible candidates must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
