The Computer Engineering Technology (CPET) program offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering Technology, and is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org.

Computer Engineering Technology is designed to give students a solid foundation in mathematics, basic science, computer hardware and software and computer network technology. Students are provided with a sound technical foundation related to the latest techniques of the discipline. The program is designed to prepare students to assemble, calibrate, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and redesign modern computers, microcomputer and signal processing. Computer Engineering Technology program provides a variety of courses that introduce the cutting-edge computer engineering technology including but not limited to Data Communication and Networking, Computer Architecture, Microprocessor, Microcontroller, Software Engineering, and Digital Signal Processing. Students have good opportunities to build skills in our hands-on labs, such as Analog and Mixed Signals Lab, DSP Solutions Lab, Software Engineering Lab, Microcontroller Lab, Digital Circuit Lab, etc.

Graduates of the computer engineering technology program are in high demand because of the current expansion of computer and computer-related industries. Demand is due to the increasing application of computer engineering technology to all aspects of engineering and industrial development, as well as to consumer and consumer-oriented industries.
