About the Master’s Program in Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering graduate students have two options for a Master’s in Electrical Engineering:  a Thesis option or a Project Option.

Thesis option

If a student selects the Thesis, 30 hours are required and  the following sequence is recommended.

Courses taken while completing BS:  6 hours

Fall first semester after graduation:  9 hours

Spring : 9 hours

Summer:  6 hours – Student completes the Thesis and graduate

Project Option

If a student selects the project option, 33 hours are required and  the following sequence is recommended:

Courses taken while completing BS:  6 hours

Fall first semester after graduation:  9 hours

Spring : 12 hours

Summer:  6 hours – Student completes the completes project and graduate
