Each of you, by now, should have received an invite to join Digication, an online e-portfolio service that we will be trying out for our class this semester. The invite looks something like this:
Your colleague Anil Kumar at Prairie View A & M University has invited you to join a course or community called Science of Everyday Life on Digication.
All you have to do to get started is:
1. Go to http://pvamu.digication.com/invite_accept.digi?invitationkey=L4aae718599f9343f3fbc437bbba4ec17edb99530b9e1e
2. Create your account by choosing a unique Username and Password.
3. Log in and start exploring!
Digication is an academically focused online network where teachers, students and alumni can post their writing, artwork, photos, movies, music, important papers, upcoming events and interesting ideas.
By creating your own e-Portfolio, you’ll create a place where your work can stand out and attract the attention it deserves. A place where your peers and mentors can see your work and offer praise, suggestions and constructive criticism.
If you have any questions or need help, you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll respond as quickly as possible.
Your Friends at Digication
Go ahead and follow the instructions “to get started” and we will provide more information in class this week.
Thanks…Brian Cudnik (co-facilitator of PHSC 3083)
