The Assignments link in the Activities block opens a page that lists all of the assignments the instructor has made available in the course.
The assignment tool allows instructors to collect work from students, review it and provide feedback including grades. Your submitted assignment is visible only to the instructor and not to the other students unless a a group assignment is selected.
