CRESSE milestones and performance goals call for researchers to present at least 20 conference presentations over the coming years with another 10 conference presentations by undergraduate and graduate students. The goal is also to produce more than 30 refereed papers over the course of the first five-year study.

Sharing knowledge, advancing science

Building on infrastructure and human resources established by the Center for Applied Radiation Research (CARR), a Group II NASA University Research Center, CRESSE will expand research capabilities in experimental radiation dosimetry, theoretical radiation environment modeling and theoretical radiation interaction modeling as related to the exploration of the moon and Mars.

Like the CARR faculty that was involved in the dissemination of more than 200 publications, invited presentations, abstracts and other relevant papers, CRESSE faculty recognizes the importance of knowledge-sharing through scientifically-significant journals, conference papers and presentations at national and international conferences, seminars and scientific gatherings.
