July 22, 2017

Welcome to Psychology Department! Beginning July 1, we’re delighted that Dr. Roslyn Caldwell has joined our thriving community of teacher-scholars in the College of Juvenile Justice and Psychology.  Dr. Caldwell has taught in Cal Poly’s Psychology and Child Development Department. Before that, she taught for John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York and University of Nevada, Las Vegas. A believer in “paving the way for those coming behind you,” Caldwell directs the Bakari Project Mentoring Program for high-level juvenile offenders.  Dr. Caldwell holds a University of California – Santa Barbara doctoral degree in clinical psychology and certification in forensic psychology.  An alumnus of 4-H Club and Future Farmers of America, she espouses the 4-H motto, “To make the best better.”
